# Bobby Talk — Product Owner brand adoption record 1.0.0

**Status: CANONICAL.** This document is the single authoritative record of the
Bobby Talk brand adoption decision. Every other representation — the JSON and
Markdown exports inside the downloadable brand package, the asset registry, the
`/admin/brand` authority surface and the `/brand` overview — is a derived
representation of this record and carries no independent authority.

## 1. Adopted identity

**Talk Pulse** is adopted as the canonical Bobby Talk beeldmerk.

Two facing voice crescents with centre pulse bars; the negative space between
the crescents reads as a heart. Text-free, single-colour, legible at 16px.

Canonical geometry is locked in `src/brand/geometry.ts`. The path data, the
viewBox, the stroke weights and the bar rhythm may not be altered without a new
written Product Owner approval and a new brand version.

## 2. Adopted themes

**Night** and **Blush** are adopted as the two complete theme systems.

- Night — near-black blue-shifted structure, communication blue primary.
- Blush — pale lavender structure, violet primary, pink signal.

**Follow system** is a theme-selection preference mode that resolves to Night or
Blush. It is not a third visual theme.

## 3. Historical and rejected identities

| Identity | State |
| --- | --- |
| Heart Call | Approved-historical. Not an active identity. Never rendered on a product surface. |
| Close Connection | Approved-historical. Not an active identity. Never rendered on a product surface. |
| B-based beeldmerk | Rejected. Removed from every surface, icon, manifest and asset. |

## 4. Print-safe artwork

Outlined lockups and wordmarks are governed production artwork. All glyphs are
converted to vector paths at generation time; the files reference no font and no
external resource, so they render identically offline and on systems without
Inter installed.

Editable text-based lockups remain available for web accessibility only and must
never be sent to a printer or vendor in place of the outlined artwork.

## 5. Change control

1. Raise a written proposal describing the requested geometry or palette change.
2. Regenerate candidate assets in a branch with `scripts/brand/generate.py`.
3. Present a side-by-side against the active version with contrast results for
   both themes.
4. Obtain written Product Owner approval from Alex (alex@siteways.io).
5. Bump the brand version, write a new adoption record in
`docs/governance/brand/`, regenerate the registry, checksums and packages.
6. Mark superseded assets deprecated. Never delete the historical record.

No change to canonical geometry or to the core palette of either theme may be
made through an in-app colour picker or geometry editor. None exists, and none
may be added.
