Beeldmerk candidate record
Preserved historical record. Every candidate is text-free and contains no letter B, no letter T and no BT monogram; the previous blue rounded-square “B” mark is withdrawn from all surfaces. Talk Pulse was selected by the Product Owner and is the only active canonical identity — see the brand authority. Heart Call and Close Connection remain approved but unadopted, and must never be mixed with Talk Pulse.
Heart Call
Historical candidate — not adopted
Concept
A single unbroken call line. It rises from two people, meets in the middle and folds into a heart cleft. Reads as waveform first, feeling second — never as a handset in a bubble.
Actual-size tests
Lockups
Collision risk
No handset silhouette, so no WhatsApp adjacency. Not a paper plane (Telegram), not a bolt (Messenger), not a dashed bubble (Signal). Nearest risk is generic audio-waveform iconography; the heart cleft and the two endpoint dots carry the ownable difference.
Variants
Applications
Correct usage
- Single colour, theme accent or full contrast.
- Clear space of one stroke width on all sides.
- Simplified geometry below 24px.
Misuse
- No letters placed inside or behind the mark.
- No gradients, bevels or drop shadows.
- No stretching, rotating or recolouring per element.
Talk Pulse
Adopted — canonical identity 1.0.0
Concept
Two voice crescents facing each other. The negative space between them reads as a heart; the pulse bars at the centre stand for text, voice notes and live calls in one symbol.
Actual-size tests
Lockups
Collision risk
No bubble outline, so no Messenger or Signal adjacency. Facing-crescent construction is uncommon in messengers; risk is mostly with audio players, mitigated by the heart-shaped void and asymmetric bar rhythm.

Close Connection
Historical candidate — not adopted
Concept
Two endpoints — one solid, one open — held inside one closed ribbon. The loop is the private connection: invitation-only by construction, since nothing enters from outside.
Actual-size tests
Lockups
Collision risk
Both loops close on the outside edges, so it never resolves as an infinity mark. No messenger brand currently uses a two-node ribbon; risk sits with network/VPN iconography, mitigated by the solid/open node pairing.

Selection outcome
Talk Pulse was selected and adopted. It survives 16px better than the other two, it carries text, voice and video in one construction, and its facing-crescent silhouette has the least collision risk against WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger and Signal. Heart Call is the warmest but softest at small sizes; Close Connection is the most distinctive at large sizes but the most abstract.
Adopted by Alex (alex@siteways.io) at brand version 1.0.0. Heart Call and Close Connection are retained here as historical record only.
