Private pilot

Private conversations, one exact email at a time.

Create an account with your email address and a password, confirm your address, and you are in. Nobody can reach you until you send a contact request to someone’s exact email address, or accept one — there is no participant directory and no partial-name search.

Registration is open to approved pilot email domains: anyone with an address at one of those domains may create an account with a password. The address must be confirmed before any protected area opens. Registration creates an ordinary participant and never grants administration.

  1. 1. Register with your email address and a password of at least 12 characters.
  2. 2. Open the confirmation email and follow the single-use link.
  3. 3. Sign in, then send a contact request to a friend’s exact email address.
  4. 4. Once they accept, you can message each other.
Bobby ID is not connected in this pilot and contacts no Bobby ID service.

Disposable pilot — conversations, messages and unread state reset nightly at 03:00 Europe/Amsterdam. Production Bobby ID is not active and end-to-end encryption is not operational. Registering creates an ordinary participant account and grants no administration. Demo data is synthetic and is deleted nightly at 03:00 Europe/Amsterdam. Sending an external email invitation to someone who has no account is prepared but not delivered in this pilot. Calling, video and attachments are Coming soon. This is not a production service.

(a)

Reachable only by exact email

A conversation cannot start before a contact request to an exact address is accepted. Blocks override every path.

(b)

Relationship labels stay private

How you describe someone is yours alone. Labels never grant message, call or delegation authority.

(c)

Readiness before traffic

Platform encryption is a readiness gate that must pass before real messages or calls are accepted.
